- For Yahweh takes pleasure in his people.
He crowns the humble with salvation. - Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good.
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. - Give to everyone who asks you, and don’t ask him who takes away your goods to give them back again.
- One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
one who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city. - A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge;
but the simple pass on, and suffer for it. - I am coming quickly! Hold firmly that which you have, so that no one takes your crown.
- A fool has no delight in understanding,
but only in revealing his own opinion. - Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants.
None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. - I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
- When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out in the army, neither shall he be assigned any business. He shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer his wife whom he has taken.
- Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil.
- You shall not misuse the name of Yahweh your God; for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who misuses his name.
- He who walks blamelessly walks surely,
but he who perverts his ways will be found out. - For I, Yahweh your God, will hold your right hand,
saying to you, ‘Don’t be afraid.
I will help you.’ - Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
- Why do you set your eyes on that which is not?
For it certainly sprouts wings like an eagle and flies in the sky. - Don’t envy the man of violence.
Choose none of his ways.
For the perverse is an abomination to Yahweh,
but his friendship is with the upright. - My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
- When you vow a vow to God, don’t defer to pay it; for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay that which you vow.
- Better is a little that the righteous has,
than the abundance of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,
but Yahweh upholds the righteous. - Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction. He opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.
- He who walks blamelessly and does what is right,
and speaks truth in his heart;
he who doesn’t slander with his tongue,
nor does evil to his friend,
nor casts slurs against his fellow man. - Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity,
and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage?
He doesn’t retain his anger forever,
because he delights in loving kindness.
May Yahweh our God be with us as he was with our fathers. Let him not leave us or forsake us. Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you.
Yes, I will help you.
Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.Next verse!With image
