- He will cover you with His pinions,
And under His wings you may take refuge;
His faithfulness is a shield and wall. - In You, Lord, I have taken refuge;

In Your righteousness rescue me. - And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
- He will again take pity on us;
He will trample on our wrongdoings.
Yes, You will cast all their sins
Into the depths of the sea. - “Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord God, “rather than that he would turn from his ways and live?”
- For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand,
Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’ - Therefore know today, and take it to your heart, that the Lord, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other.
- When you make a vow to God, do not be late in paying it; for He takes no delight in fools. Pay what you vow!
- Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.

Before the sons of mankind! - Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out with his hand, and take fruit also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— therefore the Lord God sent him out of the Garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken.
- Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
- You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, so that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I am commanding you.
- Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is comfortable, and My burden is light.
- “I love You, Lord, my strength.”
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my savior,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - But I say to you, take no oath at all, neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God, nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet, nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
