- Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

- For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose on their behalf.
- The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly.
- On the day of prosperity be happy,
But on the day of adversity consider:
God has made the one as well as the other
So that a person will not discover anything that will come after him. - Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you.
- I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in one’s lifetime; moreover, that every person who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor—this is the gift of God.
