The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord shine his face upon you and be gracious to you. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will accomplish this. | Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. |

Therefore, encourage one another and strengthen one another, as indeed you are doing. | Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. |
I will instruct you and guide you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and keep my eyes upon you. | I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. |
Test everything, and hold fast to what is good. Avoid every form of evil. | Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. |
So we must not fall asleep as the others do, but we must stay alert and sober. | Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. |
May the Lord guide your hearts to the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ. | And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. |
Do not be afraid or dismayed, the Lord will go before you; he will not fail or forsake you. | And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. |
Be doers of the word and not just hearers who only deceive themselves. | But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. |
However, the Lord is faithful. He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. | But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. |
O Lord, all my longing is known to you, and my sighs are not hidden from you. | Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee. |
I have instructed you in the ways of wisdom and led you along the paths of righteousness. | I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. |
Turn away from the mouth that deceives and keep your distance from lips that mislead. | Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. |
Whom do I have in heaven except you? And besides you there is nothing else I desire on earth. | Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. |
O Lord, you grant peace to those who are steadfast because of their trust in you. | Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. |
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. Speak out for those who cannot speak for themselves, and defend the rights of the destitute. | Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. |
For I, the Lord, am your God and I grasp your right hand. It is I who say to you, Do not fear; I will help you. | For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. |
I will give thanks to you among the peoples, O Lord; I will sing your praises among the nations. | I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. |
Those who revere your name place their trust in you, for you never abandon those who seek you, O Lord. | And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. |
