and nations instead of your life. - He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know, that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh’s mouth.
- Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh,
since we have hoped in you. - If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.
- May he grant you your heart’s desire,
and fulfill all your counsel.
