Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”
Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is sinful? Of course not! In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, “You must not covet.”What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right.”Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.”
So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment. Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment.
Then I observed that most people are motivated to success because they envy their neighbors. But this, too, is meaningless—like chasing the wind.Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.
My child, if your heart is wise, my own heart will rejoice! My son, if your heart is wise, My heart will rejoice—indeed, I myself.
Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship. He said, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord!”Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. And he said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.”

That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
