Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is sinful? Of course not! In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, “You must not covet.” Romans 7:7	What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.” sin law desires

So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment. 2 Peter 2:9	Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment. temptation judgment punishment
Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority. So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him. Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me. So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. Galatians 5:16	I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. sin Spirit desires
Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. Then I observed that most people are motivated to success because they envy their neighbors. But this, too, is meaningless—like chasing the wind. That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God. Romans 8:8	So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. sin dependence desires
Then Jesus shouted, “Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!” And with those words he breathed his last. Luke 23:46	And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ ” Having said this, He breathed His last. easter Jesus Father
Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith. Galatians 6:10	Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. gentleness neighbor goodness
And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord.
