Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. | Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things. |

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. | And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. |

For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. | For bodily training is just slightly beneficial, but godliness is beneficial for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. |
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. | And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power.
