He who loves silver will not be satisfied with silver; Nor he who loves abundance, with increase. This also is vanity. | One who is covetous will never be satisfied with money, nor will the lover of wealth be content with gain. This too is vanity. |
For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. | For I know that through your prayers and with the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will result in deliverance for me. |
To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. | To these God chose to make known how rich is the priceless glory that this mystery brings to the Gentiles—Christ in you, your hope of glory. |
This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him. | This saying can be trusted: If we have died with him, we shall also live with him. |

Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. | I am confident of this: that the one who began a good work in you will bring it to completion on the day of Christ Jesus. |
