- Then Peter came up and said to Him, “Lord, how many times shall my brother sin against me and I still forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy-seven times.”
- I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth. - The Lord will also be a stronghold for the oppressed,
A stronghold in times of trouble. - A friend loves at all times,
And a brother is born for adversity. - If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.
- My times are in Your hand;
Rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me. - So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent.
- Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
- Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all!
- With every prayer and request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be alert with all perseverance and every request for all the saints.
- But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Too little to be among the clans of Judah,
From you One will come forth for Me to be ruler in Israel.
His times of coming forth are from long ago,
From the days of eternity. - God is our refuge and strength,
A very ready help in trouble. - On the day of prosperity be happy,
But on the day of adversity consider:
God has made the one as well as the other
So that a person will not discover anything that will come after him. - Jesus said, “Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and for the gospel’s sake, but that he will receive a hundred times as much now in the present age, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life.”
- For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
- But as for me, I will sing of Your strength;
Yes, I will joyfully sing of Your faithfulness in the morning,
For You have been my refuge
And a place of refuge on the day of my distress. - And God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that, always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.
- Rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer.
- The Lord is good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble,
And He knows those who take refuge in Him. - That they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.
- Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years approach when you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”.
- Who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was granted to us in Christ Jesus from all eternity.
- But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, free of hypocrisy.
- Remember, Lord, Your compassion and Your faithfulness,
For they have been from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth or my wrongdoings;
Remember me according to Your faithfulness,
For Your goodness’ sake, Lord.
A prudent person sees evil and hides himself;
But the naive proceed, and pay the penalty. And God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that, always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.Next verse!With image
