Bible Verses about 'Troubles'
- This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles. - The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit. - The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all. - For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
- So then, banish anxiety from your heart
and cast off the troubles of your body,
for youth and vigor are meaningless. - Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
- Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
- Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
- Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted. - That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
- Do not forsake your friend or a friend of your family,
and do not go to your relative’s house when disaster strikes you—
better a neighbor nearby than a relative far away. - So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.” But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.Next verse!With image
