- Oh how great is your goodness,
which you have laid up for those who fear you,
which you have worked for those who take refuge in you,
before the sons of men! - As knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine, according to the Good News of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

on those who hope in his loving kindness. - Yahweh is my strength and my shield.
My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped.
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices.

Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. - Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Under his wings you will take refuge.
His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. - Though an army should encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear.
Though war should rise against me,
even then I will be confident. - Yahweh’s law is perfect, restoring the soul.
Yahweh’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple. - Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
- For Yahweh’s word is right.
All his work is done in faithfulness. - Yes, in the way of your judgments, Yahweh, we have waited for you.
Your name and your renown are the desire of our soul. - The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger,
but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing. - Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith.
- We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
- But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength.
They will mount up with wings like eagles.
They will run, and not be weary.
They will walk, and not faint. - Whom, not having known, you love. In him, though now you don’t see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory, receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
- That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love.
