Chinese (traditional)- Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance.
- Do everything in love.
- And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
- Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,
for they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth
and my rebellious ways;
according to your love remember me,
for you, Lord, are good. - Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. - Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
- A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
- No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
- Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands. - Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
- Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.
- If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.
- But I will sing of your strength,
in the morning I will sing of your love;
for you are my fortress,
my refuge in times of trouble. - Hatred stirs up conflict,
but love covers over all wrongs. - My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
- The Lord is good,
a refuge in times of trouble.
He cares for those who trust in him. - And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
- Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
- Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
- Rend your heart
and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity. - Great peace have those who love your law,
and nothing can make them stumble. - Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
- Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.Next verse! With image
