Bible Verses about 'Wealth'

The wealth of the rich is their strong city; in their imagination it is like a high wall. The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, And like a high wall in his own esteem.
Wealth hastily gotten will dwindle, but those who gather little by little will increase it.Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, But he who gathers by labor will increase.

Likewise all to whom God gives wealth and possessions and whom he enables to enjoy them, and to accept their lot and find enjoyment in their toil—this is the gift of God.As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God.
Wealth is a ransom for a person's life, but the poor get no threats. The ransom of a man’s life is his riches, But the poor does not hear rebuke.

As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the lure of wealth choke the word, and it yields nothing. Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life.By humility and the fear of the Lord Are riches and honor and life.

No one can serve two masters; for a slave will either hate the one and love the other, or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
Riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might; and it is in your hand to make great and to give strength to all. Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all.

Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit, but righteousness delivers from death.Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, But righteousness delivers from death.
Better is a little that the righteous person has than the abundance of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the Lord upholds the righteous.

When goods increase, those who eat them increase; and what gain has their owner but to see them with his eyes? When goods increase, They increase who eat them; So what profit have the owners Except to see them with their eyes?
As for those who in the present age are rich, command them not to be haughty, or to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but rather on God who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.
