| But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? | One who is on the path of life follows instruction, But one who ignores a rebuke goes astray. | He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth. |
| It goes well for a person who is gracious and lends; He will maintain his cause in judgment. | A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. |

| But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. | But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. |
| Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who wait for the Lord. | Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord. |
