That they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit. | How they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. |
Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy. | Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy. |
Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts on them, will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. | Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock. |
