| Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord. | He who heeds the Word finds prosperity. Whoever trusts in Yahweh is blessed. |
| Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. | He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. |
| If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? | But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him? |
