For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.
For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it.
For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”
Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave. But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave.
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.
And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.”Then he said to them, “Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me also welcomes my Father who sent me. Whoever is the least among you is the greatest.”
Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.Everyone who sins is breaking God’s law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God.
Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.”Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.”
Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come.
Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.Anyone who denies the Son doesn’t have the Father, either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.
Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.He is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name.
Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.
Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things.
When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.”
But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.
