| Then Peter asked, “Ananias, why has Satan so gained control of your heart that you lied to the Holy Spirit and retained part of the sale price of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not belong to you? And after it was sold, were not the proceeds yours? What caused you to contrive this scheme? You have lied not to men but to God.” | But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God.” |
| And we are witnesses to these things, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him. | And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him. |
| Through him all things came into existence, and without him there was nothing. That which came to be. | All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being. |

| That is why you also pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, and they devote themselves to this service. | For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing. |
| Jesus looked at them and said, “For men it is impossible, but not for God. For God all things are possible.” | Looking at them, Jesus said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.” |

| But who am I, and what are your people, that we should be able to do this? All things belong to you, and everything that we have given you is from your hand. | But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given to You. |
| What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us? | What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? |
| Jesus answered them, “Amen, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to this fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be accomplished.” | And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.” |
| Abba, Father, for you all things are possible. Take this cup from me. Yet not my will but yours be done. | Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will. |
| We know that God makes all things work together for good for those who love him and who are called according to his purpose. | And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. |

| Call to me and I will answer you and reveal to you great and mysterious secrets about which you are unaware. | Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know. |
| The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! | He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. |
| Finally, brethren, let your minds be filled with whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, whatever is excellent, whatever is worthy of praise. | Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things. |
| For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. | For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. |
| He reveals deep and hidden mysteries and knows what lies in the darkness, for light dwells with him. | It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, And the light dwells with Him. |
