Hear my prayer, O Lord, And give ear to my cry; Do not be silent at my tears; For I am a stranger with You, A sojourner, as all my fathers were.Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear to my cry; do not hold your peace at my tears. For I am your passing guest, an alien, like all my forebears.
When goods increase, They increase who eat them; So what profit have the owners Except to see them with their eyes?When goods increase, those who eat them increase; and what gain has their owner but to see them with his eyes?
Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be a healing for your flesh and a refreshment for your body.
And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper as his partner.”
I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was extolled with my tongue.I cried aloud to him, and he was extolled with my tongue.
But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help?
Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?
Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.
Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor.Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.
For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you.

Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.Learn to do good; seek justice, rescue the oppressed, defend the orphan, plead for the widow.

Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.Who are you to pass judgment on servants of another? It is before their own lord that they stand or fall. And they will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child. If you afflict them in any way, and they cry at all to Me, I will surely hear their cry; and My wrath will become hot, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.You shall not abuse any widow or orphan. Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus.May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus.
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age.For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all, training us to renounce impiety and worldly passions, and in the present age to live lives that are self-controlled, upright, and godly.
We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other.We must always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of everyone of you for one another is increasing.
Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.
I was sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’ To a nation that was not called by My name.I was ready to be sought out by those who did not ask, to be found by those who did not seek me. I said, “Here I am, here I am,” to a nation that did not call on my name.
Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will make your vindication shine like the light, and the justice of your cause like the noonday.

For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.For I am longing to see you so that I may share with you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— or rather so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
