- Don’t weary yourself to be rich.

- Don’t say, “Why were the former days better than these?” For you do not ask wisely about this.
- Don’t be wise in your own eyes.
Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.
It will be health to your body,
and nourishment to your bones. - For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
- Yahweh’s law is perfect, restoring the soul.
Yahweh’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple. - For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age.
