- You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

What can flesh do to me? - He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only born Son of God.
- I have hidden your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you. - Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down,
but a kind word makes it glad. - We know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
- I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.
- Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which you now see and hear.
- Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.
- He sends his word, and heals them,
and delivers them from their graves. - How can a young man keep his way pure?
