Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.Jesus answered, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and Spirit, he can’t enter into God’s Kingdom.”
A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.One who brings gossip betrays a confidence, but one who is of a trustworthy spirit is one who keeps a secret.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.For the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy, says: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.”
