A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.A talebearer reveals secrets, But he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter.
Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.
Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.
He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

“Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)So He said to them, “Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him, because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?”
How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears.Therefore You are great, O Lord God. For there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die.But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.“Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.
My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.”But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.”
Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city.He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear mere mortals, human beings who are but grass.I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you should be afraid Of a man who will die, And of the son of a man who will be made like grass?
This is what I have observed to be good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, to drink and to find satisfaction in their toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given them—for this is their lot.Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage.
A wicked person earns deceptive wages, but the one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.The wicked man does deceptive work, But he who sows righteousness will have a sure reward.
Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life.Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life.
To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind.

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.
