But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine. | As for you, Titus, promote the kind of living that reflects wholesome teaching. |
And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. | He took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” |

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth. | Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing. |
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. | But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! |
Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. | O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you! |
