| Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. | Repent therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out. |

| What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? | What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? |
| And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. | Then everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. |

| Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. | Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for you reap whatever you sow. |
| Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. | So then let us not fall asleep as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. |
| Let all your things be done with charity. | Let all that you do be done in love. |
| Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. | Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. |
| Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. | Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. |
