- The words of a gossip are like dainty morsels:
they go down into a person’s innermost parts. - That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death.
- The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me.
- Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation.
