- Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning,
for I trust in you.
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
for I lift up my soul to you. - Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff,
they comfort me. - If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.
- The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to heal the broken hearted,
to proclaim release to the captives,
recovering of sight to the blind,
to deliver those who are crushed. - Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.
- For whoever finds me finds life,
and will obtain favor from Yahweh. - He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.

Your loving kindness, Yahweh, held me up. - The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me,
because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble.
He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives
and release to those who are bound. - Teach me your way, Yahweh.
I will walk in your truth.
Make my heart undivided to fear your name. - He said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men.”
- Make your face to shine on your servant.
Save me in your loving kindness. - Jesus therefore answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.”
- With my whole heart I have sought you.
Don’t let me wander from your commandments. - Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?
- One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.
- But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me,
my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. - I will never forget your precepts,
for with them, you have revived me. - Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
- Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
- In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep,
for you alone, Yahweh, make me live in safety. - I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith. From now on, the crown of righteousness is stored up for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.
