- Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. Over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him a thousand years.

I will exult in the God of my salvation. - Stay awake and pray that you may not come into the time of trial; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
- For I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance.
- Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord.
- Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
- I will put my spirit within you, and make you follow my statutes and be careful to observe my ordinances.
- The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. - Therefore I tell you, people will be forgiven for every sin and blasphemy, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
- To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
- You shall be holy to me; for I the Lord am holy, and I have separated you from the other peoples to be mine.
- A cheerful heart is a good medicine,
but a downcast spirit dries up the bones. - Indeed, the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul from spirit, joints from marrow; it is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
- When Jesus had received the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
- This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts.
- I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him.
- Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
and those who love it will eat its fruits. - A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you; and I will remove from your body the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
