My deliverance and my glory depend on God; he is my mighty rock and my refuge. | In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. |

If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple. | If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. |

Keep in mind, therefore, that the Lord, your God, is God. He is a faithful God who keeps his covenant of mercy to the thousandth generation toward those who love him and observe his commandments. | Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations. |
While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. | Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man. |
Those who live according to the flesh can never be pleasing to God. | So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. |
Hence, be imitators of God, as beloved children. | Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children. |
Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the one who sustains me. | Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. |
However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God. | But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. |
To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. | Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. |
In God alone is my soul at rest; it is from him that my salvation comes. | Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. |
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. | Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. |
He replied, “What is impossible for men is possible for God.” | And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. |
To do your will, O God, is my delight; your law is in my heart. | I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. |
Why are you so disheartened, O my soul? Why do you sigh within me? Place your hope in God; for I will once again praise him, my Savior and my God. | Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. |
Arise, O Lord! Lift up your hand, O God! Do not forget the afflicted. | Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. |
In God alone be at rest, O my soul; it is from him that my hope comes. | My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. |
Therefore, a Sabbath rest still remains for the people of God, since those who enter into God’s rest also cease from their own labors as God did from his. | There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. |
May God continue to bless us and be revered to the ends of the earth. | God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. |
Beloved, since God loved us so much, we should love one another. | Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. |
