Chinese (traditional)- For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
- God will bless us.
All the ends of the earth shall fear him. - Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
- Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
- He answered them, “He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise.”
- Yahweh is my strength and my shield.
My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped.
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices.
With my song I will thank him. - Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
- “Yahweh is my portion,” says my soul.
“Therefore I will hope in him.” - Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants.
None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. - For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”
- God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
- Blessed are those who keep his statutes,
who seek him with their whole heart. - Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good.
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. - Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is. Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
- Every word of God is flawless.
He is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name.
- Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the assembly to God for him.
- Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation.
- Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.”
- But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.
- You shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
- He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.
- By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his loving kindness. - Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all. So that with good courage we say,
“The Lord is my helper. I will not fear.
