- And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
- But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.
- The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
- If ye love me, keep my commandments.
- He must increase, but I must decrease.
- We love him, because he first loved us.
- Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
- For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
- For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
- Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. - For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
- There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. - For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
- For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
- Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
- Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
- A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. - I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
- He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
- A wholesome tongue is a tree of life:
but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. - For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
- But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
