- Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me.
- I, even I, am he who comforts you.
Who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die,
and of the son of man who will be made as grass? - But I trust in your loving kindness.
My heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing to Yahweh,
because he has been good to me. - If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

- Who has worked and done it,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I, Yahweh, the first, and with the last, I am he. - You call me, ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord.’ You say so correctly, for so I am.
- When I said, “My foot is slipping!”
Your loving kindness, Yahweh, held me up. - For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established; that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.
- Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff,
they comfort me. - I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.
- I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies,
as much as in all riches. - Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with me.
- For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
- I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.
- I spread out my hands to you.
My soul thirsts for you, like a parched land. Selah. - Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me? - He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne.
- Since you have been precious and honored in my sight,
and I have loved you,
therefore I will give people in your place,
and nations instead of your life. - I will bless Yahweh at all times.
His praise will always be in my mouth.
