- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

- Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!
- Glory to God in the highest,
on earth peace, good will toward men. - Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.
- I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies,
as much as in all riches. - I have taught you in the way of wisdom.
I have led you in straight paths. - You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- Some trust in chariots, and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of Yahweh our God. - Open your mouth for the mute,
in the cause of all who are left desolate. - In the multitude of my thoughts within me,
your comforts delight my soul. - I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.
- Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh.
- I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living. - The time is fulfilled, and God’s Kingdom is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News.
- There is a way which seems right to a man,
but in the end it leads to death. - Riches don’t profit in the day of wrath,
but righteousness delivers from death. - But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives.
In the end, he will stand upon the earth. - Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
- Death and life are in the power of the tongue;
those who love it will eat its fruit. - I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it will be a sign of a covenant between me and the earth.
- For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.
- Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him.
- For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.
- Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil,
but joy comes to the promoters of peace. - But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.
