- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”
- So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
- Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.
- It is better to trust in the Lord
Than to put confidence in man. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
Who walk in the law of the Lord! - Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
- Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
- You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
- Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men! - Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. - I have taught you in the way of wisdom;
I have led you in right paths. - I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches. - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
- The fear of man brings a snare,
But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe. - I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
- In the multitude of my anxieties within me,
Your comforts delight my soul. - Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart. - The Lord is good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble;
And He knows those who trust in Him. - And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
- Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things.
- The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.
- Open your mouth for the speechless,
In the cause of all who are appointed to die. - Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,
But a good word makes it glad. - Riches do not profit in the day of wrath,
But righteousness delivers from death. - Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord. - Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,
But counselors of peace have joy.
