- The integrity of the upright shall guide them:
but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. - He that walketh uprightly walketh surely:
but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. - He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous:
he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. - With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful;
with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment,
and equity; yea, every good path. - The way of the Lord is strength to the upright:
but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. - Wherefore now let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
- He that walketh uprightly,
and worketh righteousness,
and speaketh the truth in his heart.
He that backbiteth not with his tongue,
nor doeth evil to his neighbour,
nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.Next verse!With image
