- The integrity of the upright shall guide them:
but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. - He that walketh uprightly walketh surely:
but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. - He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous:
he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. - With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful;
with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment,
and equity; yea, every good path. - The way of the Lord is strength to the upright:
but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. - Wherefore now let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
- He that walketh uprightly,
and worketh righteousness,
and speaketh the truth in his heart.
He that backbiteth not with his tongue,
nor doeth evil to his neighbour,
nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.Next verse!With image
