- The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power,
and will not at all acquit the wicked:
the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm,
and the clouds are the dust of his feet. - I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
- Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - Commit thy way unto the Lord;
trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

- For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
- Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him:
fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. - And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
- From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

- And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

- For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts:
and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him;
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
