Let go (4/4)

  • Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
  • Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
  • Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
  • Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.
  • But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
  • So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
  • Sing to the Lord,
    For He has done excellent things;
    This is known in all the earth.
  • But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
  • Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
    Be acceptable in Your sight,
    O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.
  • You shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.
  • Let my teaching drop as the rain,
    My speech distill as the dew,
    As raindrops on the tender herb,
    And as showers on the grass.
  • But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
  • Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.
  • Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
  • Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
  • Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
  • He will not allow your foot to be moved;
    He who keeps you will not slumber.
  • This is the day the Lord has made;
    We will rejoice and be glad in it.
  • Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
  • Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord;
    Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.
  • Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
  • Ponder the path of your feet,
    And let all your ways be established.
  • Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
    Bind them around your neck,
    Write them on the tablet of your heart,
    And so find favor and high esteem
    In the sight of God and man.
  • Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
  • Now therefore, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take care and do it, for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, no partiality, nor taking of bribes.

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
