Long for you (2/4)

After supper he took another cup of wine and said, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you.”Likewise, he took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.”
I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live.But I am hard pressed between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Yet to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sake.
Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you.Arise, shine; for your light has come, and Yahweh’s glory has risen on you!
O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you.
I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!I love Yahweh, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy. Because he has turned his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.

For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.Knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
He took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”He took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.”
Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps.For you were called to this, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps.
Others were given in exchange for you. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you.Since you have been precious and honored in my sight, and I have loved you, therefore I will give people in your place, and nations instead of your life.
Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.Always rejoice. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.
And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.May the Lord make you to increase and abound in love toward one another and toward all men, even as we also do toward you.
Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing.We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another abounds.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.”
For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord. When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established; that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.
There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name.Yes, in the way of your judgments, Yahweh, we have waited for you. Your name and your renown are the desire of our soul.
Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.For sin will not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.
In the night I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek you. For only when you come to judge the earth will people learn what is right.With my soul I have desired you in the night. Yes, with my spirit within me I will seek you earnestly; for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

I will shout for joy and sing your praises, for you have ransomed me.My lips shall shout for joy! My soul, which you have redeemed, sings praises to you!
