- And may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you.
- Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His faithfulness to a thousand generations for those who love Him and keep His commandments.

I will give other people in your place and other nations in exchange for your life. - So husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
- Your adornment must not be merely the external—braiding the hair, wearing gold jewelry, or putting on apparel; but it should be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.
