- For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons and daughters of God.
- Beloved, let’s love one another; for love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- Not to us, Lord, not to us,
But to Your name give glory,
Because of Your mercy, because of Your truth. - Remember, Lord, Your compassion and Your faithfulness,
For they have been from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth or my wrongdoings;
Remember me according to Your faithfulness,
For Your goodness’ sake, Lord. - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- You, Lord, will not withhold Your compassion from me;
Your mercy and Your truth will continually watch over me. - Certainly goodness and faithfulness will follow me all the days of my life,
And my dwelling will be in the house of the Lord forever. - For nothing will be impossible with God.
- But I have trusted in Your faithfulness;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
Because He has looked after me. - “And tear your heart and not merely your garments.”
Now return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and compassionate,
Slow to anger, abounding in mercy
And relenting of catastrophe. - Who is a God like You, who pardons wrongdoing
And passes over a rebellious act of the remnant of His possession?
He does not retain His anger forever,
Because He delights in mercy. - The Lord will accomplish what concerns me;
Your faithfulness, Lord, is everlasting;
Do not abandon the works of Your hands. - For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and mankind, the Man Christ Jesus.
- My salvation and my glory rest on God;
The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. - Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness;
According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings.
Wash me thoroughly from my guilt
And cleanse me from my sin. - Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.
- In God, whose word I praise,
In God I have put my trust;
I shall not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - But as for me, I will be on the watch for the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. - If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.
- Because Your favor is better than life,
My lips will praise You.
So I will bless You as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. - Let me hear Your faithfulness in the morning,
For I trust in You;
Teach me the way in which I should walk;
For to You I lift up my soul. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
A broken and a contrite heart, God, You will not despise. - No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us.
- Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
- Looking at them, Jesus said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”
