Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. | Even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. |
Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. | Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. |
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. | She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins. |
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give. | Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give. |
