Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Open door'
- Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
- Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
- So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
- But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
- The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are attentive to their cry. - All my longings lie open before you, Lord;
my sighing is not hidden from you. - Speak up and judge fairly;
defend the rights of the poor and needy. - Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,
for the rights of all who are destitute. - “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
- For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their prayer,
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
- A gift opens the way
and ushers the giver into the presence of the great. - Better is one day in your courts
than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked. - He sent out his word and healed them;
he rescued them from the grave. - Those who guard their lips preserve their lives,
but those who speak rashly will come to ruin. - Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
- But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
- If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?
- And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.
- And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
- When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”
Better a patient person than a warrior,
one with self-control than one who takes a city. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.Next verse!With image
