- “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. - For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts. - Let the wicked abandon his way,
And the unrighteous person his thoughts;
And let him return to the Lord,
And He will have compassion on him,
And to our God,

For from within, out of the hearts of people, come the evil thoughts, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, acts of adultery, deeds of greed, wickedness, deceit, indecent behavior, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile the person.”
- Turn to my rebuke,
Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you. - Commit your works to the Lord,
And your plans will be established. - For the Lord is our judge,
The Lord is our lawgiver,
The Lord is our king;
He will save us. - And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
- May the kindness of the Lord our God be upon us;
And confirm for us the work of our hands;
Yes, confirm the work of our hands. - So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He listened to our pleading.
- Give us this day our daily bread.
- Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.
- It is a trap for a person to say carelessly, “It is holy!”
And after the vows to make inquiry. - The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace,
Because he trusts in You. - May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us nor forsake us.
- Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden,
The God who is our salvation. Selah - Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name;
And save us and forgive our sins for the sake of Your name. - But He was pierced for our offenses,
He was crushed for our wrongdoings;
The punishment for our well-being was laid upon Him,
And by His wounds we are healed. - May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.
