Bible Verses about 'Our thoughts'

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.
Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.Let the wicked abandon his way, And the unrighteous person his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God.
Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.Search me, God, and know my heart; Put me to the test and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there is any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.
You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I get up; You understand my thought from far away.
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy. When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your comfort delights my soul.
Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings.Turn to my rebuke, Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’
He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”And He was saying, “That which comes out of the person, that is what defiles the person. For from within, out of the hearts of people, come the evil thoughts, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, acts of adultery, deeds of greed, wickedness, deceit, indecent behavior, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile the person.”
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.Commit your works to the Lord, And your plans will be established.
For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is he who will save us.For the Lord is our judge, The Lord is our lawgiver, The Lord is our king; He will save us.
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.May the kindness of the Lord our God be upon us; And confirm for us the work of our hands; Yes, confirm the work of our hands.
So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer. So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He listened to our pleading.
Give us today our daily bread.Give us this day our daily bread.
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.
It is a trap to dedicate something rashly and only later to consider one’s vows.It is a trap for a person to say carelessly, “It is holy!” And after the vows to make inquiry.
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You.
May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us nor forsake us.May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us nor forsake us.
Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, The God who is our salvation. Selah
Help us, God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name’s sake.Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name; And save us and forgive our sins for the sake of Your name.
Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him.But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases.
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.

He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
