Do not toil to acquire wealth; be discerning enough to desist.Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness.

Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.

The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life.Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life.
And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
