- Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord! - So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

- And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
- Since you were precious in My sight,
You have been honored,
And I have loved you;
Therefore I will give men for you,
And people for your life. - I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
And in His word I do hope. - I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
- It is better to trust in the Lord
Than to put confidence in man. - For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.
- Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
- Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord. - But I will sing of Your power;
Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning;
For You have been my defense
And refuge in the day of my trouble. - And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

“Therefore I hope in Him!” - Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.
- Therefore I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
My God will hear me. - I will love You, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - In God (I will praise His word),
In God I have put my trust;
I will not fear.
What can flesh do to me? - And those who know Your name will put their trust in You;
For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. - I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.
- But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
- Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
