Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? | Or can a person walk on hot coals And his feet not be scorched? |
The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. | The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride, arrogance, the evil way, And the perverted mouth, I hate. |
For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord. | For one who finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord. |
