Psalm 16:1 (5/9)

For you, God, tested us; you refined us like silver.For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue.I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him—his name is the Lord. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him. A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long.Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.
My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you— I whom you have delivered.My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you.Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
Help us, God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name’s sake.Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.
Restore us, Lord God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you.For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.
When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.
Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
