13 Bible Verses about the Comforter - NIV & KJV

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
When anxiety was great within me,
your consolation brought me joy.
In the multitude of my thoughts within me
thy comforts delight my soul.
When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord;
he brought me into a spacious place.
I called upon the Lord in distress:
the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.
Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are they that mourn:
for they shall be comforted.
I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had.Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus.
I, even I, am he who comforts you.
Who are you that you fear mere mortals,
human beings who are but grass.
I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass.
But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’
nor any scorching heat.
For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’
They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me.But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever.And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.
Bible verse of the day
2-chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
