- And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
- And they stripped Him and put a red cloak on Him. And after twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and put a reed in His right hand; and they knelt down before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
- And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment.
- One who walks with integrity, practices righteousness,
And speaks truth in his heart.
He does not slander with his tongue,
Nor do evil to his neighbor,
Nor bring shame on his friend. - Opening his mouth, Peter said:
“I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality,
but in every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him.” - But if the wicked person turns from all his sins which he has committed and keeps all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.
- If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and listen to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your healer.
- Create in me a clean heart, God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me. - Without consultation, plans are frustrated,
But with many counselors they succeed. - Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just; and He is able to humble those who walk in pride.
- Then you will discern righteousness, justice,
And integrity, and every good path. - Sober up morally and stop sinning, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
- Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
- Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed quickly, therefore the hearts of the sons of mankind among them are fully given to do evil.
- You call Me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord’; and you are correct, for so I am.
- Behold, as for the impudent one,
His soul is not right within him;
But the righteous one will live by his faith. - I have instructed you in the way of wisdom;
I have led you in upright paths. - Let your eyes look directly ahead
And let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. - See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek what is good for one another and for all people.
- Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous; love does not brag, it is not arrogant. It does not act disgracefully, it does not seek its own benefit; it is not provoked, does not keep an account of a wrong suffered.
- Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.
- But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be in dread.
- Vindicate the weak and fatherless;
Do justice to the afflicted and destitute. - A person has joy in an apt answer,
And how delightful is a timely word! - Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;
Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight.
Stop doing evil.
